Protection paper P50/P90

Our masking paper UPM Protect P50/P90, available in five common sizes is ideally suited for the easy and efficient protective covering in renovation work, craftsmanship, transport protection or for DIY activities. Due to the easy roll-off, the product can be applied very quickly, even for covering large areas such as window sills, radiators, handrails, furniture, etc. The back of the sturdy brown paper is fully coated with our water-based and solvent-free, removable and repositionable adhesive. The substrate-friendly special adhesive allows the application on highly sensitive surfaces, such as paper wallpapers, veneers, sensitive wood surfaces or poorly adhering paints or colours. The masking paper works like a sticky note. It is adjustable at any time. After usage it is removable without leaving any glue residues and it can be re-used.

Our UPM Protect 50 and UPM Protect 90 products are made from FSC™-certified paper (FSC C003094).

Protection paper P60+

Self-adhesive universal cover and surface protection material based on a robust, tear-resistant kraft paper reinforced with a special coating and a substrate-friendly water based special adhesive. The masking paper UPM Protect P60+ is impermeable for water and other liquids. The sturdy paper has a very good adhesion – this keeping the paper from shifting – and sticks to many surfaces, e.g. floor grounds, heaters, windowsills and handrails. It is adjustable at any time. After usage it is removable without leaving any glue residues and it is possible to re-use it.

The UPM Protect P60+ is also suitable for direct coating with paint or varnish. On smooth surfaces and upon removal direct after applying paint the product can serve as a painters tape. When applying on structured or non-smooth surfaces the additional use of painters tape is recommended. There are varied application possibilities, for covering and protecting DIY works, as a base for creative and handicrafts, as a self-adhesive paper table cover, etc.
